Mr. Preuss,

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and well researched reply to me. I am certainly open to the language of a revelation from God being influenced by the receiver. However, when it comes to Dr. Schuman's work, I continue to struggle with reconciling the message that it stated in the work with the Revelations through Lorber and Dudde. For instance, one of the statement's made it A Course In Miracles is that God is not even aware of our world because it is not real. This seems to be contradictory to the message of Jesus that God is the Father of each of us and if called upon will help us become his Children and overcome this world. Both Lorber and Dudde stress the point that the world was created as a result of the fallen spirits being dissolved and that matter arises from this. This point seems to be essential to the message of salvation as a redemption from the judgment of matter and a return to our previous state. Also, the idea in the Course that Christ is not just Jesus but all of us, only we are not aware of it, seems contradictory with the uniqueness of Jesus Christ being the Father incarnate. Perhaps I am not understanding that material right, but I just cannot seem to reconcile the texts and trying to do so has been frustrating. Do you consider Dr. Schuman's work a revelation from the Lord? And if so how do you reconcile it with the others when the messages seem so different? I have wondered if Dr. Schuman was perhaps being contacted by a lower spirit who meant well, but was not actually Jesus Himself. Thank you for you continuing guidance with this.

Dear Mr Welch

Studying the Bible, I wondered about this passage: "We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." Romans 8:22.

Then years later I came across the writings of Jakob Lorber and Bertha Dudde and found there explanations, which were highly informative and they caught my full attention.

Now these writings were probably intended for a time that was close to the time of the end and closer to the time of the end than, for example, the writings of the New Testament.

So only in Romans we find some information about this subject and hardly anywhere else. The Fall is an important event in the Bible, but the information about it is not too detailed there, especially not the original fall. Jesus mentions that he saw Satan fall from heaven, Luke 10:18, and that incites our imagination, but is very limited information compared to that in Lorber and Dudde.

Information about worldly things fills many libraries and other things like the internet, but when it comes to spiritual things, then the extent is probably much greater and we will never stop to grow and learn and become more perfect.

Now the world was created as a result of the fallen spirits and matter arises from this, and this is an important subject, but it is one of other important subjects, and so it is somehow mentioned in the Bible, but more or less in just one book, and other books contain nothing about it. And now close to the end this subject comes more to the forefront, but not all prophetic expressions of our time deal with it, as for example A Course in Miracles.

Lorber and Dudde bring much about the material world, but they also stress that it is more important to turn our thinking to the spiritual side of life. We are to live by faith and not by sight. We should always see the real thing in everything, the spiritual side. We are to fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.

In my previous mail I mentioned the section in "A Course of Miracles" called "Let miracles replace all grievances" and there we have this passage:

"Each grievance stands like a dark shield of hate before the miracle it would conceal. And as you raise it up before your eyes, you will not see the miracle beyond. Yet all the while it waits for you in light, but you behold your grievances instead."

So we should only really see the miracle, the spiritual side of life. And that is how God sees us and the physical world. He just sees the spiritual and not physical. The spiritual is all that matters, the soul.

Now in Bertha Dudde it is indicated that Johannes was the person giving the messages to Bertha Dudde, or at least one the light beings was Johannes, B.D. NR. 0595. When I compare Bertha Duddeís messages to those of "A Course in Miracles" then I have the impression that the messages of "A Course in Miracles" come direct from Jesus Christ. It is authority there that speaks to me. To me it is the same voice that speaks to me in the Gospels. It is the voice that the writers of the Gospels use when they quote Jesus directly.

Now one thing does not necessarily exclude the other. Just because God completely lives and acts in the spiritual world is he able to be completely in control of the material world. And that applies to us as well. Only when we have turned completely to a life of the spirit in us, will we really be able to also run the material side of our life successfully.

If we look down from above upon the material world and mainly see the spiritual in it, will we really see reality.

In B.D. NR. 4001 Bertha Dudde writes about the world of pretension: hail to those who have recognized the world of pretension and are not its slaves.

I want to mention another example where something in the material coming from Helen Schucman seemingly contradicts basic Christian teaching.

We are taught to walk in forgiveness. The material however points out that it is actually not necessary to forgive. When we walk Godís ways then we are protected and nothing can harm us and therefore we do not need to forgive someone who wants to harm us because he cannot do it.

And if someone slanders us, insults us, then he also cannot harm us. He can do it but is has no physical effect upon us. Or we should at least not allow it to affect us. We are simply to ignore it. The prudent man ignores an insult, Proverbs 12:16, or A manís wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offence, Proverbs 19:11, or A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control, Proverbs 29:11, or That You may give him power to hold himself calm in the days of adversary, until the inevitable pit of corruption is dug for the wicked, Psalm 94:13.

"A Course in Miracles" aims at thought reversal. We are to renew our thinking.

May be we can continue this discussion; it will help me growing spiritually.
